Being a Juneteenth Ambassador is an honor and a privilege and shows acceptance of great responsibility and a total commitment to the Juneteenth Program. Juneteenth Ambassadors are youth that are engaged in leadership, service, and the promotion of Juneteenth Programs in creative ways. One of the ways we showcase our youth and ambassador program is through workshops. Each workshop allows our youth to engage in conversation and give meaningful insight to the topics. 

Saniya Gay is a Senior at Delaware State University, where she received her Bachelors in Mass Communications in May of this year. At a very young age, Saniya understood the value of giving back and making the community a better place. In 2019, Saniya won the title of Ms. Juneteenth Delaware with her platform issue of Domestic Violence and continued her reign until June 2021. In 2020, she became the Nation’s 1st National Miss Juneteenth Queen. Saniya's Youtube channel "Saniya's Gems" is the host for Beyond The Narrative. Click below to follow.
